Yes, absolutely. Your first dance song is personal, and we want your routine to reflect that. Once you’ve chosen your song, we’ll choreograph a routine that works with the tempo, mood, and flow of the music. If you’re undecided, we can suggest songs that work well for wedding dances and match your energy as a couple. Either way, the music always comes first — we build the moves around it.

The number of lessons depends on what you want to achieve. Most couples take between 4 to 6 lessons to learn and feel confident with a full first dance. If you’re going for something simple and sweet, 3 to 4 sessions might be enough. For something more choreographed or custom — like mashups or group routines — we may recommend 8 or more. We’ll guide you based on your vision, your timeline, and how comfortable you feel as you learn.

Wear something comfortable that lets you move easily — think activewear, stretchy clothes, or whatever feels good. Sneakers or dance shoes are great, and if you’re planning to wear heels on the day, feel free to bring them along for the last few lessons. Some brides also bring their dress (or a similar skirt) to practise the final version of the dance. We’ll make sure you feel prepared for every detail.
